Tight Side / Loose Side Web

Paper, film, foil, textile and nonwoven webs may have a tight side / loose side condition. This defect is present in the web itself because the web is longer in the machine direction, on one side, than it is on the opposite side. Webs with this condition will wrinkle due to the tension differential, cross machine, between the tight side and loose side of the web.

Anti- wrinkle systems can help.
