Tips to Select the Right Unwind Brake by Double E Group

If you process rolls of paper, film, foil, textile or nonwoven webs, proper tension control in the unwind zone starts with your braking system. How does your unwind brake operate? Proper brake sizing: Every unwind brake has a minimum to maximum torque output range. It is extremely important to understand your minimum to maximum torque requirement for your tension range, width range and roll diameter to core range.
