Use Metal Duct for Trim Conveying

Converting processes involving paper, film, foil, textile and nonwoven webs will, most of the time, include edge trimming. Edge trim waste is often pneumatically conveyed to a reclaiming process or recycling or disposing area in the plant.

Be careful using plastic or other nonmetallic duct for trim conveying. Static build up can negatively affect pneumatic conveying performance. Metallic duct will have less static build up.
