I have heard pneumatic trim conveying systems described as the Rodney Dangerfield of the converting industry because they just don't get any respect! Often times when trim conveying systems are not operating properly, it's because the application has changed, drastically, from the original specification due to a change in operating specifications or possibly moving the system to a different machine. Pneumatic trim conveying systems must be reevaluated, redesigned and possibly replaced, all-together, if process values change.  Jeff Damour | |
