Venturi Operating Principle


How do venturi's work for continuous trim conveying in converting applications?
  • Pnuematic pressure is supplied to the venturi, usually with a blower.
  • Venturis are designed to take that pressurized air flow and generate suction.
  • Venturis (like CAC's FOX TrimAway venturi) designed specifically for edge trim and matrix conveying allow for a straight path through the venturi and duct. No sharp bends with which to contend and no need to chop the edge trim.
  • Optional chopping is available if required.
